The Specialty Equipment segment includes Anderson Dahlen, located in Ramsey, MN, and Waconia, MN. Anderson Dahlen delivers end-to-end equipment design-build and contract manufacturing, with precision fabrication – cutting, forming, machining, welding, finishing, and complex assemblies – backed by engineering, integration, and complete process solutions including skids and sanitary platforms tailored to customer applications.

The wage range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, certifications, as well as other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $28-$35/hour.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the uninterrupted flow of production by ensuring facilities, buildings, and equipment used at the site are in good working order and in the highest state of reliability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Repairs, installs, and maintains machinery, equipment, physical structures, and electrical systems by following specifications, blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings using hand tools, power tools, hoists, cranes, and measuring and testing instruments.
- Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
- Dismantles machines and equipment to install new or repaired parts.
- May operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
- May fabricate and repair counters, benches, partitions, and other structures of general construction, and participate in moving office partitions and furniture.
- Utilization and records updates within the company’s maintenance control software.
- Inspects and tests machinery and equipment, using electrical and electronic test equipment.
- Performs repairs and maintenance to the physical structures, buildings, and property.
- Maintains building facilities by making routine repairs, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
- Support the annual/quarterly tests and inspections, including life safety, building, and equipment.
- Works safely and complies with all established safety rules and work practices, and is responsible for lock-out tag-out.
- Liaison with the Environmental Health & Safety Manager and Engineering to ensure building systems, machinery, and equipment are operating in the safest capacity.
- Functions as a technical resource for all departments and, as such, is consistently able to communicate clearly and effectively with both technical personnel and non-technical personnel in an appropriate and understandable manner.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance or machine tool operation.
- 2 years of vocational or associate degree in machine tool or related technical discipline preferred.
- HVAC experience preferred.
