Highway Equipment Operator

This is a full-time position and works under the supervision of the Highway Superintendent.

This position is responsible for various tasks related to highway maintenance, such as repairing guardrails, cutting trees/brush, patching roads, ditching, and more. In the winter months, this position will also assist with plowing and salting. Additionally, this position may assist in vehicle and equipment maintenance. Operation of various types of equipment including but not limited to: light and heavy construction vehicles, pickup truck, dump truck with snowplow and wing when needed, grader, crawler/dozer, excavator, backhoe, and bucket loader.

Manual labor is necessary to satisfactorily complete assigned jobs. Overtime may be required.
