As the General Manager, you will be the heart and soul of this historic 19th-century village pub. You will oversee all daily operations, including a busy seasonal food trade, live music events and community activities. Your primary goal is to maintain our stellar reputation as a welcoming hub for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Team Building:
    Recruit, train, and inspire a passionate front-of-house and kitchen team to deliver top-tier customer service.
  • Commercial Performance:
    Drive sales and manage profit and loss while maintaining the highest operational and food safety standards.
  • Community & Events:
    Champion local engagement by hosting regular pub activities for the community.
  • Remarkable Guest Experiences:
    Create a warm, "home-from-home" atmosphere for every guest and their four-legged friends.
What We Are Looking For
  • Proven experience in hospitality management, ideally as a General Manager or a strong Deputy Manager looking to step up.
  • A natural host with excellent communication skills and a deep passion for great food and premium ales.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to manage stock, rotas, and marketing.
  • A real "people person" who thrives in a dog-friendly, community-centric environment.
