Paraprofessional, Indirect Tax Services
Your Opportunity
Paraprofessional
- Provide general administrative support within the national Indirect Tax Group
- Support our Workday processing including billings, collections and deposits, entering and applying payments, printing and mailing or emailing client invoices
- Coordinate client acceptance, conflict checks, Workday customer and project setup, Case Ware setup and preparation of engagement letters, master service agreements and statements of work
- Conduct and document related indirect tax research
- Communicate with the tax authorities to obtain information, complete registrations, validate information or answer their requests for information
- Prepare GST/HST, QST, PST, payroll tax (e.g., EHT) and workers compensation returns as well as other taxes including working with client general ledger data to determine sales, tax collected, creditable tax and payroll amounts
- Assist with electronic and paper filing of returns
- Communicate with team members on various indirect tax matters
- Work cooperatively and effectively with other staff members and partners
- Provide additional administrative support, as required

- You have a minimum of 3 years’ previous related experience
- You have strong written and verbal communications skills
- You are proficient with MS Office. Experience with Case Ware and Tax Prep is an asset
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- You have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
The expected range of compensation for this role is from $51,000 to $77,000.
