To work in our field operations under the supervision and directions of the Fluid manager on site. This is a supervisory level position with moderate physical workload.
Duties entail initial rig up of Fluid pumping systems, perform Fluid transfer as per customers’ requirements and final rig out, inventory and release of equipment from the site. This position has an exceptional opportunity for advancement. As a Fluid transfer technician, you will be required to work scheduled shift work on a rotating basis.
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:Provide labour and equipment operation, assisting in the initial rig in of Fluid transfer pumps, lines and equipment as requiredMonitor pumped product Fluid, line pressures and integrityTo maintain and service equipment in the field environment and to ensure all processes are carried out in accordance with company quality and safety management system to a level of competency set by the companyEnsure that all mechanical operating systems are maintained to a safe and operational level in accordance with the company and industry standards, quality and safety management systemsEnsure equipment appearance is presentable and viewed by clients as Premium Equipment in its appearance.To assist and perform duties during fracturing operations as directed by the Fluid ManagerEnsure adherence to standard operating procedures when operating all field equipment and vehiclesActively participate in learning the basics of all equipmentAttend any internal or external courses the company requires in conjunction with duties that will increase competency and efficiencyEnforce and adhere to all Operating Company policies.Assist in rig out and inventory of equipment prior to moving offOther duties as required
Experience andMinimum 3-5 years water transfer experienceMust possess a valid driver’s licenseMust be physically fit and must be able to communicate effectively and professionallyATV/UTV training is an asset
Ability to safely manage water transfer workers and ensure job executionSelf-motivated, committed to the job and safety orientatedAble to interact and perform successfully within a team environmentFlexible attitude to hours of employment and work conditionsPrioritize workload to best suit job requirementsAbility to manage changeGood communication and computer skillsAbility to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines and interact responsibly with coworkers at all timesKnowledge of Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic operating systemsThis position has been identified as a safety-sensitive and will require completion of pre-employment alcohol & drug test
