Your role involves delivering goal-directed nursing care while fostering trust and communication with residents and their families. You'll play a key role in implementing and assessing care plans, ensuring every resident receives personalized attention.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care according to provincial guidelines
• Establish trusted communication with residents and families
• Assess and adjust care plans as necessary
• Maintain up-to-date clinical documentation for residents
• Mentor unregulated care staff, providing guidance and support
Requirements:
• Registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the province
• Strong clinical knowledge in senior care
• Effective communication and critical thinking skills
• Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain
