Reporting to the Manager, the Clinical Resource Nurse (CRN) is responsible for promoting the Mission, Vision and Values of the Health Authority through the provision of safe quality nursing care to clients.

Shift Timing:
Days, Nights, Evenings, Weekends, Stats.

Hours of Work: 94.24 hours per 4 weeks; 8 shifts of 11.78 hours. Scheduled hours may be reduced (if applicable) during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period.

Pay Band Nurse B $42.040 to $52.440.

• Nurse educates, mentors and supports unit staff.
• Promotes patient safety, occupational health and safety, and quality improvement on the unit.

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN).
• Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of recent nursing experience related to the clinical program area. Previous leadership experience is required.
• Licenses: Basic Life Support Instructor Certificate (BLS). Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS). Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS). Other specialty certifications related to the clinical program area as required.
• Knowledge & Abilities:
  • Understands principles of adult education.
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates initiative, self‑direction, and the ability to work effectively and collaboratively in an integrated multidisciplinary team.
