The HR Coordinator is responsible for providing professional and administrative support to the HR Department through a broad spectrum of duties including talent acquisition, HRIS data entry, onboarding, communication, file maintenance and ad hoc projects as necessary.

Your role will help ensure the HR department operates effectively to deliver maximum value to our candidates, Team Members and the company as a whole. All HR Team Members are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that demonstrates initiative, professionalism, personal awareness, integrity, and exercise strict confidentiality in all areas of their roles.


* Assists with recruiting and onboarding of new Team Members by providing information packets, gathering withholding and other payroll information, completing pre-employment screening items, obtaining signatures for documents, explaining benefit programs, reviewing company policies, scheduling training, etc.
* Work in close partnership with all HR Team Members and Leadership to be a credible resource for our applicants and Team Members.
* Proactively identify opportunities and assess improvements to the Team Member experience and partner with the HR team to develop and implement innovative and lasting solutions.
* Ensure all inquiries are answered and/or properly routed in a timely manner.
* Maintain accurate files throughout the recruiting, onboarding and employment process; in electronic and paper form.
* Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities.
* Assist with reviewing candidate applications, conducting phone screenings, referring candidates to hiring managers, and extending employment offers as needed.
* Support any other special projects as needed.


* Must be bilingual in Spanish.
* Experience working in HR or Recruiting related fields (1-2 years preferred).
* Maintains a high degree of professionalism - can interact with all levels of the organization as a main point of contact for team.
* Strong ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maturity.
* Knowledge of and ability to ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws/regulations and company policies.
* Proven planning and organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proactive and able to take initiative.
* Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling conflicts.
* Can multi-task and work in a fast-paced energetic environment.
* Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach.
* Proven track record of exceptional customer service skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including grammar and proofreading skills.
* Strong skills using Microsoft Office Suite, previous experience with an applicant tracking system and HRIS strongly preferred.


* Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.
* Work environment may include smoke and variable temperature, lighting and noise levels.
