Raw Material Inventory Control

Responsibilities

• Communicate with material handler and production to understand needs and demand
• Understand the full function of the material handler to cover breaks and lunches
• Ensures that raw materials and consumables are staged and ready for production and material handler in appropriate areas
• Unload other raw materials from trucks and move to storage space
• Responsible for upkeep and maintenance of material warehouse using FIFO system
• Operate forklift and crane
• Band empty bags, boxes, and move to appropriate areas for disposal or recycling
• All other duties as assigned

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Dependable and punctual
• Understanding of complex systems
• Ability to act independently
• Sense of urgency, ability to maintain accuracy, and multitasking
• Drive and take initiative
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude in high‑pressure situations
• Understanding of production process and material flow
