This is a driving post requiring operation of a company or personal vehicle as directed. You will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, teamwork, and integrity in a caring, reliable, and innovative culture.

What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors, public officials, and/or first responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and follow post orders related to authorized entry, inspections, and/or incident reporting.
Carry authorized defensive equipment in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal guidelines, maintaining professional conduct and readiness throughout the assigned shift.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
