Space Technology Subject Matter Expert

Provide direct support to a Department of Defense customer for the Space Security and Defense Program. Provides advice, technical guidance and expertise to program staff in the following areas:
Initiates, supervises, and/or develops requirements from a project's inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs Provides strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff Provides detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues 15 years of relevant DoD/IC or relevant industry work experience with no less than five (5) years' experience in a SAP and/or SCI environment Experience must include space technology, space architectures, air-space integration, and space control systems.

Must be a self-starter, able to take initiative, work independently and recognize management issues that need to be elevated Excellent oral, written, and reporting communication skills Ability to work in a flexible, fast-paced, and highly dynamic environment Ability to multi-task and maintain deadline punctuality during pressurized situations Masters Degree in a science, engineering, or technical field PhD degree in a science, engineering, or technical field DESIRED Top Secret, SCI Eligible;
