Transfer Agency Trade Processing Team – Business: AML/KYC – Role:
Associate/Senior Associate
The Transfer Agency Department provides fund administration services covering shareholder servicing functions including transaction processing, reporting, AML and registration and payments. The department manages client and investor document processing and quality checks of transactions and updates client registers in response to investor instructions.
Role description
- Perform BAU activities to meet client SLA and regulatory requirements in a 24/7 environment.
- Perform quality reviews for all entity types (corporates, foundations, charities, institutional investors, designated bodies) based on AML policies.
- Identify and document quality review results and propose remedial actions.
- Provide clear feedback to associates and coaching as needed.
- Apply AML guidance for Cayman, Delaware, Australia, Ireland, Bermuda etc.
- Use screening tools such as World Check, Pythagoras, Lexus-Nexus.
- Use Microsoft applications – expertise in Excel and presentation skills advantageous.
- Review FATCA/CRS reporting and US tax forms (W9, W8-BEN, W8-IMY, withholding statements).
- Maintain accurate records and perform remediation activities according to risk rating.
- Work independently and collaboratively as required.
- Create reports on time without reminders.
- Positive attitude and team spirit required.
- Prior experience in transfer agency functions is an added advantage.
- Flexible to work in any shift as per business needs.
- Prior transfer agency processing experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce desired.
- 1–10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Responsible for meeting all client deliverables.
- Proficient navigation in Windows environment.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word.
- Clear and concise written communication.
- Proficiency in English writing and speaking.
- Strong research, resolution and communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills – relationship building, respectful, problem resolution.
