Sr. Business Analyst (Web Services)

Senior Business Analyst with strong experience in web services, Agile/Scrum, user story creation, requirement gathering, and healthcare insurance/payor domain.

Required Skills

- BS Degree + a Min of 5 years of Technical Business Analyst exposure (9 years without a degree is acceptable)
- Must have experience working within the Healthcare Insurance/Payor industry
- Must have strong User Story creation abilities, product requirement gathering abilities, creation of functional tech to Non-Tech documentation, grooming, etc-.
- SW Tools:
Jira and Visio
- Solid Web Services understanding:
Must have a strong understanding of how Web Services are impacted by new technologies getting introduced to an environment and how to create user stories for backend Web Services tasks
- Solid Agile/Scrum framework understanding (certs are considered a big plus)
- Able to support new features being introduced into a product / able to support product owners with similar tasks as a their Senior BA
- Strong requirement gathering and user story creation abilities is critically important
- Strong Analytical Skill Set:
Will get requirements from their customers (SOW-s, requirements/functional docs) that will have to read through, analyzed, and clarify how this will impact their current systems
- Outstanding writing and communication abilities to produce business functional requirements documents, user interface specifications, use cases, user stories, and/or data dictionaries
- Strong demonstrated analytical skills applied to business software solutions maintenance and/or development.
- Strong process analysis skills
- Strong process documentation skills
- Preferred:
Any sort of Agile/Scrum related certification
