5+ years as a Business Analyst in a Healthcare Payor environment with strong skills in requirements gathering, analysis, user stories, communication, stakeholder management, and business-to-technical translation.
Functional Business Analyst with professional work experience within a Healthcare Payor organization, to support our client who is planning their beenfits for 2026! The selected candidate will be the conduit between external customers (BCBS plans) and internal Business and/or IT Teams to ensure the customers requests are well documented and communicated to the internal teams for execution. The selected candidate will have the responsibility to ensure that the business's need for changes to processes, policies and/or information systems are identified, understood, defined, documented and acted upon by eliciting, analyzing, documenting, validating, specifying and verifying the needs of business or user.
The incumbent is accountable for leading the gathering and synthesizing of business requirements for high complexity software, systems, processes and/or services and translating them into specifications ensuring the business objectives are met. As the functional expert, the incumbent serves as a strategic conduit between the business area and the technical or software development team through which requirements flow.
Although this position is 100% remote, we are seeking candidates that reside in the EST or CST time zones.
Required Skills
-Education Level: Bachelor's Degree is preferred
-5+ years experience as a business analyst within a Healthcare Payor environment.
-Must have outstanding requirement gathering, requirement writing, requirement analysis, user story writing, use case analysis background
- Strong business to technical requirement translation
-Must have outstanding writing and verbal communication abilities
-Ability to organize stakeholder meetings and lead stakeholder meetings
