IT Project Manager
Astra Canyon is seeking an experienced ERP PMO Manager to lead our enterprise project portfolio and ensure the successful delivery of large-scale ERP initiatives. You’ll establish and manage governance frameworks, mentor project managers, and drive cross-functional collaboration between technical, business, and executive teams. This role demands a balance of strategic oversight and hands‑on leadership—guiding teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals.
WhatYou’ll Do
Oversee the end-to-end ERP project portfolio, aligning initiatives with company strategy.
Define and implement standardized methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and best practices.
Conduct project health checks, risk reviews, and stage‑gate assessments.
Partner with Sales, Engagement Managers, and Team Leads to align delivery with client expectations.
Lead and mentor project managers, analysts, and coordinators across multiple programs.
Oversee hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Set clear performance expectations and ensure consistent professional development.
Stakeholder Engagement
Act as the central point of communication for project updates, risks, and milestones.
Collaborate closely with executives, department heads, and system integrators.
Manage vendor and third‑party service relationships.
Develop and manage program‑level budgets and resource plans.
Track forecasts vs. actuals and report to leadership.
Optimize resource allocation and identify capacity constraints.
Risk & Performance Management
Identify and mitigate program‑level risks and dependencies.
Define and track KPIs—on‑time delivery, budget adherence, user adoption, and more.
Deliver regular reports and executive dashboards highlighting progress and opportunities.
What You’ll BringRequired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
8+ years of project management experience, including 4+ in ERP environments.
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.
Strong understanding of ERP life cycles —from planning through post‑go‑live.
Experience leading cross‑functional teams in complex, matrixed organizations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree or MBA.
Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe).
Cloud ERP or SaaS transformation experience.
Knowledge of ITIL or service delivery frameworks.
Industry background in manufacturing, healthcare, or professional services.
