We are supporting a global networking hardware and technology company on a high‑visibility Techno‑Functional Propel PLM Consultant opportunity. This role will support an active Propel PLM implementation and transition into long‑term ownership of the platform post go‑live.

This is a contract‑to‑hire role for a senior PLM professional who wants to act as the internal PLM Subject Matter Expert and help shape the future PLM roadmap for a large, product‑driven organization.

• Join an active Propel PLM implementation alongside external implementation partners and internal teams
• Serve as the primary internal PLM SME after go‑live, owning enhancements and system governance
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and high‑level technical designs
• Partner with global stakeholders including IT teams in India, manufacturing teams in the US, and product stakeholders
• Provide functional guidance on PLM configuration including BOMs, product structures, and change workflows
• Support internal developers by reviewing designs, assisting with troubleshooting, and ensuring architectural alignment
• Participate in solution reviews, roadmap planning, and ongoing platform optimization
• Document workflows, requirements, and best practices to support scalability

• 7–8+ years of PLM experience
• Strong expertise with Propel PLM
• Techno‑functional background with the ability to collaborate with developers and architects
• Proven experience translating business needs into technical and functional deliverables
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Experience supporting hardware, networking, or product‑focused organizations preferred
• Ability to support early morning collaboration with India‑based teams (6–10am PT overlap recommended)
• Comfortable serving as the lead internal SME post‑implementation

• Previous work with Propel implementation partners or professional services teams
• Manufacturing or manufacturing operations experience
• Salesforce platform experience (Propel is Salesforce‑based)

• Fully remote, global
• Must be available for early calls depending on time zone

• Typically $180–$200 per hour

• Optional second round with senior IT leadership
• Interviews conducted via Google Meet
