Monsignor Clarke School, Wakefield - RI

Salary: $24–$28 per hour

Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM

Up to 20 hours per week

Occasional evenings or weekends as needed

• Complete general building repairs including carpentry, painting, ceilings, floors, lighting, and minor plumbing
• Monitor and assist with basic building systems including HVAC and boiler
• Respond to maintenance requests and track completed work
• Coordinate with outside vendors and schedule required inspections
• Assist with event set-up and clean-up for graduations, Mass, and school events
• Support light landscaping, seasonal clean-up, and minor snow removal
• Work closely with custodial staff and school administration
• Respond to occasional after-hours or emergency needs

• Experience in maintenance or handyman work preferred
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Basic computer skills including email and scheduling
• Reliable, responsive, and proactive
• Having a  truck  to help move things like chairs, etc. is helpful but not required.
