We are partnering with an organization in Richardson, TX to identify an Accounts Payable Researcher to support a high-volume corporate accounting environment. This role goes beyond traditional AP, focusing on problem-solving, process improvement, and driving operational efficiency across the function.
Key Responsibilities- Manage payment processing and resolve discrepancies to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Research and address payment issues, variances, and inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
- Support reconciliations and month-end close activities
- Identify process inefficiencies and contribute to ongoing improvements and automation efforts
- Collaborate cross-functionally to strengthen controls and enhance overall AP operations
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, disbursements, or corporate accounting
- Strong attention to detail with solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting systems
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
