Position: Deputy Integrated Product Team Lead - Principal (Hybrid)

Overview

This role is a Deputy Integrated Product Team Lead (dIPTL) at Collins Aerospace. The dIPTL will oversee project controls, including cost, schedule, and technical performance for key Strategic Defense Services program control account manager functions. The position requires U.S. citizenship and an active, transferable Secret clearance.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the IPTL to create and manage plans and team structures using EVMS and IMS.
  • Produce quantifiable metrics for control accounts and present progress to program and organizational leadership.
  • Maintain the control tower for technical performance and communicate technical elements to stakeholders.
  • Build and improve Control Account Manager processes to produce accurate earned value reporting.
  • Coordinate with engineering, finance and scheduling teams to validate progress and manage risks.
  • Provide JIRA support and/or scrum master support for agile teams as needed.
What You Will Learn
  • Experience in roles such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, Project Engineer, IPTL.
  • Working with Financial Planning and Analysis teams and Program Managers.
  • Planning and executing large programs, including exposure to Strategic Nuclear Deterrence and VLF/LF development.
  • Exposure to communication technologies across evolving business areas.
Qualifications
  • Degree in STEM or minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with minimum 5 years experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Control Account Manager or related accounting/finance role.
  • Experience with Systems or Hardware engineering and MS Excel.
  • Active, transferable U.S. government issued Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cross‑functional engineering development experience.
  • Experience with technical product development, qualification, integration of DoD products.
  • Managing multiple large‑scale projects or portfolios up to an independent program.
  • MS Project Integrated Master Schedule development.
  • JIRA and Agile (Scrum) experience.
  • Experience in engineering development lifecycle for DoD contracts.
