Overview
Apex is seeking a Sr. Surveyor to join the Richland, Washington office. This leadership role will assist with the oversight and management of the Survey Department including project scheduling, budgets, proposals, and business development. Our multi-disciplinary team serves local and regional clients on diversified projects such as master plans, long plats, ALTA surveys, renewable energy, and public land survey system sites.

Salary: $125,000 – $140,000 annually

PrimaryJob Responsibilities
- Support the Richland Survey Department and projects
- Oversee and perform land survey and mapping functions
- Supervise Survey Technicians and survey field crews
- Plan and coordinate work of field staff
- Review and certify completed work to satisfy project requirements
- Work with Apex clients to identify project needs and prepare scope and fee proposals
- Secure additional survey projects
- Washington state registered Professional Land Surveyor (PLS)
- 5+ years’ experience overseeing and performing land surveys as a registered PLS
- Experience in office production including boundary, topographic and construction surveying
- Experience in business development
- Proficiency in Autodesk Civil3D and Carlson Survey
- Aspiration for growth opportunities including taking on management responsibilities
- Valid driver’s license
- Cross-training and the ability to work on a variety of projects
