Position: Accounting Role for Senior Accountant
Elevate your career as a Senior Accountant focusing on payroll, accounts payable, and compliance in Richmond, BC. This full-time, in-person position within a top electrical contracting group supports daily financial operations.

As a Senior Accountant, you will engage with daily accounting tasks, enhancing the financial integrity of a well-respected group operating in the electrical contracting industry. The role requires a solid background in accounting, around three years of experience, and a strong understanding of Canadian payroll systems.

Experience with Jonas Construction Software will be an advantage, especially in a unionized payroll environment. You will assist with crucial month-end and year-end close processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process accounts payable and manage reconciliations

• Administer accurate union and non-union payroll

• Regularly perform bank and credit card reconciliations

• Prepare and file compliance-related reports

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing tasks

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance

• Minimum of three years related accounting experience

• Strong understanding of Canadian payroll regulations

• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
