Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of relevant working experience and be fluent in Cantonese and English
. This role will play a vital support function within our firm by assisting with client communication, performing basic bookkeeping, and organizing financial and payroll data to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily client management and ensure clear, professional communication (both written and verbal) in Cantonese and English.
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, matching receipts, and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Assist in organizing, processing, and reconciling account information and payroll data.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the senior accounting team.
  • Help prepare basic financial documents, reports, and client deliverables.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for client documents and financial records.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative support.
  • Bilingual in Cantonese and English is required (Mandarin is an asset).
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QBO, Sage, Xero) is an asset.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-service-oriented approach to assisting clients.
