Senior Accountant

Position: Senior Accountant - BioLytical Growth

Your role involves critical financial oversight and complex reporting.

This position, reporting to the Controller, involves significant responsibility in areas like audit leadership, tax filings, and compliance with IFRS and US GAAP. You'll guide our financial operations as we scale, ensuring that we maintain exceptional reporting practices and support continuous improvement across the business. Your expertise will be pivotal to our mission of expanding globally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create monthly and annual consolidated financial reports

• Analyze financial data and resolve accounting issues

• Manage cash flow and bank reconciliation processes

• Drive quarterly reviews and facilitate the annual audit

• File necessary tax and regulatory documentation

Requirements:

• CPA designation with audit and tax background

• Strong understanding of accounting standards

• Experience in manufacturing environments preferred

• Expertise in MS Office, particularly Excel

• Knowledge of Avalara and US tax considerations an asset
