The Oracle JDE Lead Developer / Architect is responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and supporting JD Edwards Enterprise One applications. This role involves creating technical specification documents, performing code reviews, conducting unit testing, and promoting objects across environments. The consultant will collaborate closely with functional teams, integration specialists, and QA consultants to ensure seamless delivery of ERP solutions and high-quality technical implementations.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop custom JDE applications using OMW tools, NERs, C Business Functions, Table Conversions, and batch/interactive applications.
- Implement enhancements and retrofits based on functional specifications.
- Create and maintain orchestrations, BSSV services, and integrations with external systems.
- Prepare Technical Design Specifications (TDS) including architecture diagrams, business logic, and interface mappings.
- Maintain program documentation and change logs in compliance with governance policies.
- Conduct unit testing and support integrated testing with functional teams.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and prepare handover documents for production deployment.
- Provide technical support for JDE environments including CNC tasks, package builds, and server maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to JDE applications, orchestrations, and system integrations.
- Work with cross-functional teams including integration specialists, RFSMART developers, and QA consultants.
- Participate in solution design walkthroughs and estimation sessions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with JD Edwards Enterprise One (9.0 to 9.2).
- Proficiency in JDE development tools such as OMW, CNER, BI Publisher, Table Conversions, and Report Writer.
- Experience with JDE integration technologies including BSSV, RTE, Orchestrator, and E1 Pages.
- Strong understanding of JDE architecture, data structures, and business views.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and integration tools like Mule Soft (optional but beneficial).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Full-cycle JDE implementation and experience.
- Experience working in global delivery models (onsite/offshore).
- Exposure to finance, distribution, and manufacturing modules.
- Knowledge of compliance standards (GxP, CSV) and documentation practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
