Shift: Day 4x9.5-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)

Description:

Will accept inpatient oncology experience as part of total experience but must also have outpatient infusion clinic exp. Will not accept any other outpatient clinic experience except infusion clinic.

The center provides day hospital/infusion and outpatient clinic services to autologous and allogeneic bone marrow transplant patients as well as CAR-t patients. This is a fast paced clinic which offers the opportunity to rotate through multiple areas such as infusion/day hospital, lab/port draw, clinic and a bone marrow biopsy suite. Responsibilities Chemotherapy/Biotherapy administration and management, including investigational protocols Transfusion of blood, platelets and fresh frozen plasma Port draw, phlebotomy and central line access;

central line care Procedural area with bone marrow biopsy/aspiration; minimal analgesia with recovery Management of toxicities r/t chemotherapy/biotherapy Management/monitoring patients with neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, anemia, and electrolyte abnormalities to include repletion Modified 5:00:00 AM Account Manager:

- #Tier3 Travel Compliance SSN DOB RTO should be included at the time of submission (will be approved by unit manager on WOC; no other guaranteed time off. No time off will be granted during the first of week of the traveler s assignment), SSN, DOB, address, phone, and email. Please also make sure to address the traveler s shift availability upfront.

Minimum 1 year experience required. VA or compact state must be in hand at time of submittal Locals accepted at same base rate. No radius rules for applicants 2 References Required Candidates will float within scope if needed. BSN preferred. EPIC charting experience required Facility will review all background hits, etc. Return Staff Policy:
Both travelers and permanent staff must be gone for one year before being eligible to return as a traveler. VCU has a natural nail policy. All ER and Psych candidates are required to submit to fingerprinting as outlined in the code of Virginia, 37.1-183.3. The average turnaround time for the results is 15-20 business days. Candidates are NOT allowed to start with results pending.
