Concordia University Chicago (CUC) invites applications for the full-time, exempt position of Assistant Director of Athletic Communication. This positions is located in River Forest, IL and reports to the Director of Athletic Communication.
The Assistant Director of Athletic Communication is responsible for all athletic communication via social media, the Athletics web site, and announcements related to the Athletic department. The position will work with the University Marketing department and work under University communication policies.
The Assistant Director will work with all the coaches in a positive manner to promote each program to alumni and Cougar followers.
The positon will stay up to date on social media and web related technology to promote all athletic teams. The position will be at the forefront of communication to the University community for athletics. The position will work with media outlets and campus marketing to promote Concordia Chicago Athletics, which includes social media accounts.
This position will work game day and stats table responsibilities, as well as help train the Graduate Assistant(s) for the department. Game day productions will also be part of the duties for all athletic events.
Minimum Experience Required:
2 years' experience in college athletics
Bachelor's degree in related discipline
Compensation and Benefits:
