POSITION SUMMARY
The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. This individual is also responsible for counting and inspecting product and notifying leadership when there are damages or discrepancies. Associates are accountable for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and will be expected to perform all duties as assigned. As part of the DSV team, Associates are expected to meet company objectives in the areas of performance, safety, and quality, and comply with all corporate and site‑specific policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Picking Responsibilities- Use a pallet jack to accurately pick orders to fulfill client demands.
- Efficiently and accurately pick products and stage them in the appropriate areas.
- Stack, package, band, shrink‑wrap, and label products as determined by client requirements.
- Process all picking functions as defined by the Standard Operating Procedures.
- Use the appropriate documentation to ensure that all products and orders are received, handled, and shipped correctly.
- Verify that products and/or orders meet quality standards, including reporting any damages or discrepancies.
- Stack, package, shrink‑wrap, and label products.
- Process all quality control functions as defined by the Standard Operating Procedures.
- Execute all safety protocols and accomplish all job tasks in a manner that promotes safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility, keeping a clean, neat, orderly work area and assist in security of the warehouse.
- Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures, corporate and site‑specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/SDS Standards.
- Operate the equipment used for assigned duties, including a pallet jack.
- Maintain equipment and report problems.
- Work overtime as dictated by business, whether mandatory or voluntary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education and/or Experience- Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months, which can range from mild to moderate.

Language SkillsEnglish (reading, writing, verbal).
Mathematical SkillsBasic to intermediate level to verify quantities of product, count inventory, or perform other duties associated with handling, storing, and distributing client products.
Other- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to accomplish job tasks in a timely manner.
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.
- Must be able to effectively adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast‑paced work environment.
- 6 months experience working in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment.
- Current or prior MHE certification.
- Handling/Fingering, Sitting.
- Bending.
- Walking and Standing.
- Ability to lift/carry and push/pull 21‑50 pounds.
- Reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel.
The employee is rarely exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

BENEFITS AND COMPENSATIONThe expected base pay range is $17.00–$24.52 hourly; actual compensation will be determined based on job‑related factors such as relevant experience, skill, education or certification, and geographic location, consistent with applicable laws and company policy.
