Senior Sourcing Specialist, Finished Product Sourcing (FPS) Licensing

Function Overview:
We are seeking qualified candidates for a Senior Sourcing Specialist for our Finished Product Sourcing (FPS) Licensing opening to join our Global Strategic Sourcing Organization.
This is a highly visible role working closely with senior leaders from the Licensing Product Teams. The selected individual will lead strategic sourcing and project initiatives in support of supply base management of existing Licensing suppliers and/or evaluating, developing, and implementing new global Licensing suppliers for the North American Region (NAR).  The Global FPS team as a whole is accountable for managing a business of over $1.8 billion (including $400M in NAR) in the finished product and licensing segments.  In this role, you will support, lead, and/ or manage to further develop existing and/or new Licensees to drive category specific Licensing initiatives to meet/exceed business metrics in terms of revenue, cost, quality, delivery, and service.  You may also find yourself defining/refining Licensing strategies, continuous improvement projects and plans, supplier contracts and development agreements, or other needs as assigned.

Job Responsibilities:
Support procurement competencies to manage category activities by:
Lead analysis of the best potential sources
Lead/manage contract negotiations between Whirlpool and its Licensees
Develop, align, and approve contracts; includes assessing and aligning all business and legal risks
Building accountability for Licensee performance relative to contracted service levels
Develop collaborative working relationships with Licensee and business/product teams
Support/lead supply base management activities of existing and new Licensees 
Participate in business/product group meetings and reviews; interact with those groups as a member of their team;  drive productivity projects with the product teams
Verify spend analysis, market insights, Service Level Agreements (SLA’s), and total cost of ownership for Licensed products
Travel to source regions to visit prospective/existing Licensees to develop/strengthen business relationships
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction are accomplished
Drive extraordinary results in meeting critical cost, quality, profitability, delivery, and service objectives

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business
5+ years of Procurement Sourcing experience
5+ years of Project Management experience

Preferred Requirements:
MBA Preferred
Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities simultaneously in adnce to objectives
Strong application procurement principles: sourcing strategies Request for Price (RFP) processes, supplier management, etc.
Successful negotiation experience, contract development, and execution
Strong planning, organizational, managing, financial, analytical, and quality mindset skills
Exceptional interpersonal, motivational, and influential skills with a strong commitment to integrity
Strong leadership attributes and decision-making abilities
Strong customer focus with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the business
Excellent written and verbal communication (English language), with proficient PC/presentation skills
Experience and/or knowledge in commodity management and supply contract negotiations
Experience using ERP systems, managing day-to-day sourcing operations, understanding full supply chains
Experience working with global teams and cross-regional projects is preferred
Experience in New Product Readiness (NPR), product development and project management is preferred
Position Requirements
Bachelor,   5 to 6 Years work experience
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business
5+ years of Procurement Sourcing experience
5+ years of Project Management experience
