To provide comprehensive leadership for pharmacy services, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, financial sustainability, and continuous performance improvement while supporting the organization’s overall strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee all pharmacy operations, including pharmacists, technical, and administrative staff.
- Develop and implement pharmacy strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality improvement programs.
- Drive pharmacy performance through KPI development, monitoring, and reporting.
- Identify growth opportunities, optimize pharmacy services, and enhance revenue performance.
- Oversee budgeting, financial performance, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams (Finance, Marketing, Operations).
- Prepare periodic operational and performance reports for senior management.
- Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Represent the pharmacy function at internal and external professional engagements.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution (Master’s or Pharm
D preferred). - Valid professional pharmacy license.
- Minimum 10 years of comprehensive pharmacy experience.
- At least 3 years in a pharmacy managerial or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of hospital or healthcare pharmacy operations.
- Proven leadership, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
- Experience with performance metrics, reporting, and business development is highly desirable.
- Strong administrative and leadership capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High ethical standards with respect for confidentiality.
- Results-driven, adaptable, and self-motivated.
- Proficient in computerized and reporting systems.
