Director of Nursing required to work in the Neonatal Department in a top Hospital Group in the Middle East.

The Neonatal Department in in one of the World's top tertiary Hospital where there are no money or time constraints.

Shifts are typically 4 hour 12 hour shifts a week and overtime is possible if you would like to earn extra money

DUTIES

Ensure staff, nursing staff, students, Interns and Residents practice within established policies and procedures and standards of nursing practice and patient care.
Staff Management to include recruitment, education, training, evaluation and development, as well as preparation and delegation of work schedules and workflow.
Reviews, plans, manage and monitors the area budget.
Participates in Committees and work groups as required.
Actively participates in planning and development of new and expanded programmes.
Develops and implements directorate area strategic plans.
Facilitates the development, implementation and evaluation of educational activities to meet the identified needs of managers, nursing and support personnel.
Participate in teaching and mentoring of Nursing, Medical and Paramedical students, Interns and Residents.
Develops implements and participates in Quality Management processes and activities.

WHAT YOU NEED

You should be a Registered Nurse in Ireland, UK, USA, Canada, Australia or New Zealand or Western Europe.
Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Master’s Degree in Nursing Management
A minimum of 8 years clinical nursing experience which includes 5 years of progressive administrative positions and 2 years in comparable position.
