The Sales Manager for the Western Region is responsible for leading sales activities, developing business opportunities, and managing customer relationships within the water treatment chemicals and related projects sector. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, providing technical and commercial support, and expanding the company’s market presence in the region.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in industrial and commercial sectors.
- Expand market share in water treatment chemicals and turnkey water treatment projects.
- Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals to clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals in line with company policies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in the Western Region.
- Conduct regular customer visits to ensure satisfaction and understand technical needs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high service levels and long-term partnerships.
- Provide technical knowledge on water treatment chemicals (cooling towers, boilers, RO systems, wastewater, etc.).
- Support customers with product selection, application guidance, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Coordinate with production, logistics, and technical departments to ensure timely deliveries and customer support.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
- Prepare regular sales reports and present insights to management.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively.
Skills & Qualifications
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific/engineering field. - Experience:
Minimum 3 years of technical knowledge and experience in water treatment chemicals and water treatment projects. - Proven experience in industrial sales or B2B sales within the chemical or water treatment sector.
- Leadership:
Strong understanding of water chemical treatment processes and products and sales. - Familiarity with industrial water treatment applications is a plus.
- Excellent sales, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong presentation and technical explanation abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
- Valid driver’s license and readiness to travel extensively within the Western Region.
- Good knowledge of Saudi market dynamics, industrial sectors, and regulatory requirements.
