OverviewThe Senior Director, Financial Applications and Processes will oversee the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the organization’s financial applications within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, specifically Workday and other designated decision support systems, as well as financial processes such as financial planning, budget, and capital. This role serves as the primary systems liaison between Finance and the organization’s IT, Human Resources, Supply Chain, and other operational areas, leveraging the ERP portfolio to drive digital transformation and innovation.
Responsibilities- Provide leadership and oversight for the ERP systems, including financial applications; work with functional areas to ensure maximum return on investment by evaluating, prioritizing, and coordinating requests from user groups.
- Assist the ERP Steering Committee with strategic planning and road mapping of ERP projects and updates to facilitate implementation and optimization.
- Design policies and procedures to analyze financial system performance, collaborate with functional areas to ensure operational effectiveness, and drive continuous process improvement.
- Evaluate the impact of ERP financial applications on existing business processes and assist user groups in implementation and adoption.
- Partner with peers and executive stakeholders to ensure technology enables a quality user experience and key organizational strategies and outcomes.
- Manage the daily work of financial application administrators and staff; set group goals aligned with the ERP program.
- Lead cross‑functional teams to assess performance and provide feedback.
- Act as a decision‑maker and problem solver; identify unique and efficient ways to solve difficult and complex problems.
- Provide financial systems education to designated areas.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration. Master’s degree in business administration or related field desirable.
- Seven years of experience in healthcare finance, accounting, or financial planning.
- CPA desirable.
