Manufacturing Engineer

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Manufacturing Engineer
.

Position Type: Full Time Contract, Possible Contract to hire

Duration: 12 months

Location: Rochester, NY 14606

• Perform tasks in a manufacturing and/or prototyping environment.
• Review and provide feedback on electro‑mechanical and opto‑mechanical drawings and designs.
• Translate drawing requirements into detailed work instructions for the assembly, integration, and testing of complex end‑products.
• Coordinate with various disciplines to ensure program schedule milestones are met.
• Own product schedule development – coordinate across disciplines to ensure agreement among stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot issues individually and collaboratively to find quick and safe solutions that minimize schedule delays.
• Balance multiple projects and priorities and communicate clearly to operations leadership.
• Maintain accurate records and manufacturing documentation.
• Adhere to established policies, procedures, and proper labor charging practices.

• Familiarity with machinery, machine building, and precision engineering.
• Experience with Optical Metrology.
• Knowledge of mechanical builds and tolerances, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with 2–8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing and/or prototyping environment.
• Ability to review and interpret electro‑mechanical and opto‑mechanical drawings.
• Ability to translate drawings into detailed work instructions.
• Troubleshooting technical issues in assembly, integration, and testing.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Pay Range: $42–$45 per hour
