We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our growing team in Chicago. This is a key, on‑site leadership role responsible for managing day‑to‑day operations on active construction sites, ensuring safety, quality, scheduling, and productivity standards are met. The ideal candidate has a proven track record leading Multifamily projects from groundbreaking to closeout.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the on‑site leader and point of contact for all field operations.
- Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
- Maintain project schedule and ensure timely completion of project milestones.
- Monitor site safety and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Conduct daily meetings with field personnel and weekly meetings with project stakeholders.
- Manage quality control and ensure all work meets plans and specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and inspectors.
- Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, site logs, and inspections.
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in ground‑up commercial construction
- Strong understanding of building systems, construction sequencing, and jobsite logistics.
- Proven ability to lead and manage field teams and subcontractors.
- Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction documents.
- Familiarity with project management and scheduling software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam)
