About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our growing team in Chicago. This is a key, on‑site leadership role responsible for managing day‑to‑day operations on active construction sites, ensuring safety, quality, scheduling, and productivity standards are met. The ideal candidate has a proven track record leading Multifamily projects from groundbreaking to closeout.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the on‑site leader and point of contact for all field operations.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
  • Maintain project schedule and ensure timely completion of project milestones.
  • Monitor site safety and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
  • Conduct daily meetings with field personnel and weekly meetings with project stakeholders.
  • Manage quality control and ensure all work meets plans and specifications.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and inspectors.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, site logs, and inspections.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in ground‑up commercial construction
  • Strong understanding of building systems, construction sequencing, and jobsite logistics.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage field teams and subcontractors.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction documents.
  • Familiarity with project management and scheduling software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam)
