Software Engineer
Satellite Systems Engineer
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analyses for satellite systems.
Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Education and Experience- 5-10 years of relevant work experience in addition to a bachelor's degree in engineering, physics or equivalent.
- Additional education may substitute for experience.
Design, develop, integrate, test and install customized software systems and tools. Provide training, write technical documentation and present results to customers. Provide technical analysis for business development.
Solid background in software engineering, object‑oriented design and strong programming skills in at least C/C++ or Java.
Education and Experience- 0 to 5 years of software development experience.
- B.S. in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics or related field.
- M.S. is a plus.
