Residential Glazier - Lead Installer

Job Description:

J&A Glass is seeking a motivated and dependable individual to fill the role of Residential Glazier - Lead Installer. This is a full-time position, with a competitive starting wage and opportunities for advancement within the company.

Responsibilities:

* Lead in the installation of shower doors, mirrors, and many other custom glass solutions our clients trust us to provide.

* Clean and prepare work areas or job sites as needed or instructed

* Load, offload, and deliver materials to work sites

* Follow instructions from the project managers

* Assist other Lead Glaziers as needed

* Identify and report issues with work material on site

* Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Requirements:

* Comfort using hand and power tools

* 1-2 years of basic construction labor experience

* 2+ years of Shower Door installation experience

* Valid  driver's license free of major accidents and DUIs

* Must be 18 years of age or older

* Ability to lift up to 70 pounds

* Must be punctual, reliable, and have a positive attitude

* Ability to read and interpret drawings and measures

* Must be willing to work in all weather conditions and travel to work sites out of the area as needed

Working Conditions &

Physical Requirements:

* Typical hours for this position are from 7:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M.

* Overtime as required

* Must follow Company Provided uniform requirements

* Must be able to work in all weather conditions

* Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
