Experienced Service Advisor

SUBURBAN FORD of ROMEO EXPERIENCED SERVICE ADVISOR – THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY-LEVEL ROLE

• Diagnosing vehicle performance concerns and service requests quickly and accurately.
• Verifying warranty and service contract coverage without hesitation.
• Developing clear, confident estimates for labor, parts, and materials.
• Writing repair orders, securing approvals, and entering ROs into the service system.
• Acting as the single point of contact between customer and technician—no dropped balls.
• Ensuring technicians fully understand customer concerns and customers clearly understand recommended repairs.
• Communicating additional services identified through inspections—professionally and persuasively.
• Administering manufacturer warranty repairs correctly and efficiently.
• Keeping customers informed on completion times, costs, and service specials.
• Maintaining accurate customer records and protecting CSI at all times.

• Previous Service Advisor experience (strongly preferred).
• Prior automotive technician experience is a major plus.
• Team-first mentality with a relentless focus on customer satisfaction.
• Solid mechanical understanding of modern vehicles.
• Ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and consistently.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
