As a Security Officer Access Services in Romeoville, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a smooth flow of people and vehicles. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication.

• Day Time Monday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tuesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify badges, credentials, and/or delivery documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Support visitor, contractor, and driver processing by maintaining accurate logs, following check-in and check-out procedures, and communicating site rules for access and movement throughout the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
