The Dispatcher is responsible for the day-to-day dispatching and planning of our drivers and equipment.
Responsibilities- Lead the way in supporting the customer service platform by delivering the resources and vital information about units and any other pertinent detail updating the customer.
- Establish excellence in building relationships.
- Match trucks with available loads internally and externally and provide quality output to our customers.
- Ensure Owner/Operators, Company Drivers have all the necessary load information for on time, every time and as agreed with the customer.
- Always knowing all the drivers and equipment locations from check calls and GPS tracking.
- Address all issues that arise during the dispatch process.
- Bid on New Freight and Meet Quotas established by management.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of dispatch experience
- Can work independently and as a team member
- Self-motivated and disciplined
- Basic knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Should be competent in Outlook and Sylectus
