Summer positions only. Hours vary by program (Monday–Friday) – except ECSE. No summer school on 6/19/2026.
- K-5 ESY: 7.25 hours/day
- 6–12 ESY: 4.25 hours/day
- Camp Propel: 6.25 hours/day
- SpEd Student Support in 6-12 Summer Programs (Middle School Academy, High School Credit Recovery, or Freshman Academy): 5.25 hours/day
- Transition Plus ESY: 4.25 hours/day
- Dakota Ridge ESY (large group): 6.25 hours/day
- Dakota Ridge ESY (small group): 5.25 hours/day
- ECSE ESY: 7 hours/day (No Fridays, Thursday hours may vary)

- High School diploma.
- Effective behavior management and health support skills, able to maintain routine in a student's day.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills for interactions with staff, students, and parents.
- Experience working in a center-based and inclusion setting.
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions, which may include toileting, catheters, lifting, medication administration, gastric tube feeding, health tasks to support student, and ability to work outside.
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred.
- Assist in communication with staff, parents, and students.
- Assist teacher/nurse in collection and maintaining data.
- Ability to implement intervention strategies developed by licensed staff.
- Implement behavior intervention plans.
- Implement health plans.
- Assist with crisis interventions and discipline.
- Have knowledge of effective sensory activities.
- Instruct individual students following programs designed by lead teacher.
- Assist with independent study.
- Reinforce lessons with small groups of students.
- Ability to work outdoors with students and staff in a variety of weather conditions.

CompensationPer the Memorandum of Understanding:
Internal applicants: hourly wage plus an additional $3.00/hour. External applicants: paid $16.50/hour plus an additional $3.00/hour for a total hourly rate of $19.50/hour.
