** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, vendors, and staff by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, authorize approved access, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with post instructions.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, trailer yards, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.

+ Help to deter unauthorized access, package or shipment irregularities, and other security-related concerns by observing site activity and reporting unusual conditions promptly.

* + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
