Duties and Responsibilities
:

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines to produce high-precision parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering specifications.
• Select tooling, fixtures, speeds, feeds, and offsets for efficient machining.
• Edit and optimize CNC programs (G-code) as needed to maintain quality and productivity.
• Perform first-article and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools.
• Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments.
• Ensure all parts meet quality, tolerance, and documentation requirements.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
• Follow safety, quality, and company procedures (ISO/AS/AS9100 as applicable).
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams; assist with training junior machinists

Independence Precision Machining, LLC is a full-service manufacturing facility based in Roseville, CA, with nearly 50 years of knowledge and experience in the machining industry. Our team specializes in complex multi-axis machining, high-precision turning, and certified welded components, working on challenging materials such as stainless steel and titanium.

We operate state-of-the-art CNC equipment, including vertical milling up to 20″ × 40″, turning up to 30″ diameters, a Makino A61 Horizontal Machining Center with full 4th-axis capability, and an 8-pallet Kitamura manufacturing cell that supports high-volume, lights-out production. Our machines are programmed using Gibbs

CAM, allowing efficient collaboration with engineering teams and accurate, repeatable results.
