Responsibilities Include:
- Create WRC’s annual and 3-year development strategies, working with our communications and development staff
- Cultivate and steward relationships with major donors and strategic partners to grow philanthropic support
- Conduct regular donor meetings, developing individualized plans to help people feel connected to our mission
- Share WRC’s mission through one-on-one site visits with donors
- Create and implement a plan for engaging sustaining donors
- Identify and pursue new grants, and opportunities to increase revenue with existing grant partners
- Serve as point of contact for corporate and community partnerships
- Grow WRC’s pool of donors/corporations who provide matching grants for fundraising events
- Support Communications and Development staff on individual giving campaigns:
Appeals, monthly giving, and online campaigns including Give to the Max Day, our annual baby shower and our website’s patient sponsorship listings - Serve as an accessible, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic representative of WRC's mission
