• It will be six months (likely not extending past this) to lead the design and implementation of a new global product costing process
• This is not a technical role; it's more like a management consultant with some tangible deliverables.

Here are the deliverables (attached has more details):

• Align stakeholders (global supply chain finance, Kinaxis, DTS, GBS, APAC FP&A and APAC Planners) on a process/calendar
• plan/orchestrate Anaplan China/Hong Kong UAT including training,
• plan/orchestrate Anaplan China/Hong Kong Go-Live
• plan/orchestrate first China/Hong Kong forecast (SQF)
• provide training and plan C2 UAT.

Global Process Lead – Product Costing (Actual Costing Transformation)

• Scope:
  Transition from Standard Costing to Actual Costing for all regions outside North America; first go-live country:
  China (UAT in progress).
• Tool landscape includes Kinaxis, Anaplan, and SAP Material Ledger for Annual Standards and forecasted PUP calculations, plus SAP for monthly costing runs and reporting/analysis (Forecast, Plan, and Analysis of Change (A – O
  - C)). Interfaces and build are complete.

Scope

• Lead process design, standardization, documentation, and control framework to enable consistent execution across countries/regions (starting with China).
• Plan and coordinate testing (SIT/E2E), UAT execution, defect triage, and cutover readiness.
• Develop and deliver super user training, role-based job aids, and user SOPs/reference materials (Anaplan)
  Forecast (Annual Standards and Quarterly/Monthly PUP).

Key tasks

• Define the global process for Annual Standards and forecasted PUP (quarterly and monthly cadence), including timing, roles/RACI, inputs, approvals, and handoffs between Finance, Supply Chain, and local plants.
• Align the forecast execution calendar (global + local) including key milestones (Demand/Production planning-> Business Reviews-> Submission).
• Coordinate end-to-end UAT for Anaplan: test scenario design, test data setup, execution tracking, defect logging, retest and sign-off.
• Lead UAT coordination for each wave/country: UAT scope, user participation plan, daily standups, defect triage with DTS/Anaplan teams, and readiness assessment.
• Establish standard review/analysis routines for plan vs. forecast vs. actual impacts on product costs, including drivers, assumptions, and A-O-C linkage where applicable.
• Develop and maintain user-facing documentation: SOPs for Annual Standards and PUP cycles, quick reference guides, standard reports list, and troubleshooting/FAQ.
• Design and deliver super user training (train-the-trainer) and support model for forecast cycles (office hours, hypercare playbooks, escalation paths).

Key deliverables

• Annual Standards end-to-end process map and RACI (global standard + country addendum).
• Quarterly/monthly PUP forecast process calendar and checklist (including cutoffs, dependencies, and approvals).
• Testing pack: test strategy, business sign-off
• UAT plan and execution artifacts for each wave (participant roster, daily reporting, defect triage cadence, go/no-go recommendation).
• Define Business Reconciliation and control checks: documented validation rules, standard variance thresholds, and sign-off evidence requirements.
• Standard analysis pack templates for forecast cycles (including variance bridges and A-O-C-aligned commentary).
• User enablement library: SOPs, quick reference guides, training deck/recording outline, and knowledge base/FAQ.
• Hypercare forecast-cycle support playbook (contacts, SLAs, escalation, and common issue resolution).

Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is between $135.00-$145.00 per hour.
