Salary: £19,941 - £27,481 pro rata salary

Join Our Team

The Hill Primary Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Class Teacher to join our dedicated team on a part‑time, fixed‑term basis for the next academic year. This exciting opportunity is ideally suited to an experienced teacher ready to make a strong contribution within Upper Key Stage 2, inspiring pupils and helping them achieve their very best.

Our teachers work under the guidance of the senior leadership team to ensure high‑quality learning experiences for all pupils, aligned with the values and expectations of the Astrea Way.

About the Role

You will play a key role in planning and delivering engaging, inclusive and ambitious learning for your class. As a class teacher at The Hill Primary Academy, you will:

Overall Purpose of the Role
  • Plan, teach, monitor, assess and evaluate high‑quality learning for all pupils.
  • Share collective responsibility for the wellbeing, behaviour and personal development of pupils.
  • Ensure equality of opportunity and high expectations for every learner.
  • Be accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in teaching, conduct and pupil outcomes.
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people.
  • Work collaboratively as part of the whole‑school team.
  • Act within statutory frameworks including the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document and Teachers’ Standards (2012).
