Candidates must have a minimum of 1500 total flight hours, including at least 250 hours as pilot-in-command. Applicants should either possess a valid Commercial pilot certificate with specified ratings or an ATP certificate. Selected candidates without an ATP will need to pass the ATP written exam within 60 days of appointment.
