Position: Electrical Validation Lab Co-op 2026

This position supports the Electrical validation (EE) Lab activities.
* Work with validation engineers and lab team to understand the processes of the lab including the quality system, and testing
* Work with the lab team to improve processes in place for the lab
* Handle the EE labs purchases and shippers for parts/equipment
* Assist in maintaining computer hardware, software and test equipment
* Work with lab team to support/assist in testing when needed
* Learn the processes of Nexteer Automotive within and outside of the EE Lab team Requirements:
* Candidate must be attending a 2-year college or 4-year university local to Saginaw
* Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelors in Electrical or Computer Engineering
* Candidate must be able to work 20-32 hours during Fall and Winter semesters *

Up to 40 in the summer
* Must have cumulative 2.7 GPA on 4.0 scale
* Must be a full-time student (12 or more credits) during Fall and Winter semesters
* Up to 40 hours during the summer
* Candidate must have growing knowledge and application of Electrical Engineering principles
* Candidate must have strong mathematical and analytic ability
* Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Products (Office 365, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project, Access, SQL)
* Candidate must have excellent Communication, Documentation Skills and attention to detail
* Candidate must have an understanding of typical electrical bench equipment (Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, Multimeters, etc)
