As a co‑op developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of various applications (web, mobile, backend) using a range of languages and technologies. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team composed of developers, analysts, and designers, with whom you will collaborate to deliver robust and scalable solutions that meet client needs.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $18-32/hour. This role is an existing vacancy.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Participate in the development, maintenance, and evolution of web, mobile, or backend applications based on project needs.
Contribute to technical design, technology choices, and solution architecture.
Efficiently integrate user interfaces in collaboration with UX/UI designers.
Perform unit and functional testing, and take part in bug fixing and quality assurance activities.
Stay up to date with technological trends to foster innovation in projects.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
Technical Skills
Knowledge of several of the following languages and technologies:
JavaScript/Type Script, React, Angular, Vue.js, Java, .NET, Python, Node.js, SQL/No
SQL, Swift, Kotlin.
Experience or interest in modern architectures: microservices, REST, Graph
QL, MVC/MVVM.
Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and version control tools (Git).
Assets
Familiarity with cross‑platform frameworks (e.g., Flutter, React Native).
Basic knowledge of Dev Ops or CI/CD.
Personal Qualities
Technological curiosity and versatility
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Team spirit and professional rigor
Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role, which involves interactions with both national and international clients.
