The Cast House Manager manages and directs all aluminum casting operations, including melting, casting, and sawing, to meet production goals while ensuring strict adherence to safety, quality, and maintenance standards. As a key member of the plant leadership team, the Cast House Manager is a strategic partner to the Plant Manager.

• Drive safety culture throughout the Cast House employees.
• Lead performance management evaluation process for Cast House team members.
• Hold subordinates accountable for their areas of responsibility.
• Maintain up-to-date training records for direct and indirect reporting employees.
• Maximize scrap utilization and minimize prime utilization.
• Ensure Cast House quality for internal and external customers, monitoring metal chemistry.
• Deliver on-time delivery to the next customer, both internal and external.
• Drive Cast House productivity and execution of standard processes and procedures.
• Accurate reporting of the DAR (Daily Activity Report).
• Embed continuous improvement in the workforce culture.
• Problem solve and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare the monthly spending budget for the Cast House.
• Develop and maintain a 1-to-3-year and 3-to-5-year capital plan.
• Create and execute action plans for large events within the Cast House.
• Maintain good working relationships with the Central Metals Group.
• Maintain all Cast House training records and annual Training Checklist.
• Complete annual reviews of JSAs and LTV procedures.
• Plan Cast House staffing.
• Develop Cast House Supervisors and Team Leaders.
• Support continuous reliability improvement standards and practices through predictive measures.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the aluminum casting, extrusion or related industry.
• Minimum of 5 years of prior supervisory experience in manufacturing.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Metallurgy or equivalent preferred.
• Bi-lingual preferred.
