Electrical Helper

Overview

We are currently hiring Low Voltage Technicians/Electrical Helpers for a 6-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension, supporting multiple fast-paced construction projects across St. George and the surrounding area. The scope of work includes access control systems (PDK, Salto, Genea), security camera installation, structured cabling, and AV systems (Crestron, Q-Sys). Technicians may travel and earn additional compensation. Technicians must bring their own tools and wear standard PPE (no fire-retardant gear required).

Technicians will meet at a central location and be transported to job sites by our dispatch team in Ogden. Success is measured by timely, high-quality installations and effective collaboration with less experienced team members.

• Install and service access control systems (PDK, Salto, Genea)
• Install and configure security cameras
• Perform structured cabling and AV system work (Crestron, Q-Sys)
• Collaborate with team members and adhere to project timelines

• Experience with Access Control, Audio Visual, Security Cameras, Cabling, and Structured Cabling
• Low voltage knowledge; experience with punchdown, Cat5/Cat6
• Hardware setup/tear down and basic troubleshooting
• Certifications or hands-on experience with PDK, Salto, Genea, Crestron, or Q-Sys is a plus

• Punch Down Tools (Combination 66, 110, Belden, Krone)
• Phillips & Standard Screwdrivers (#1 and #2)
• 10 & 1 Screwdriver
• Adjustable Wrench (6" and 8")
• Adjustable Pliers (Channel Locks), Lineman Pliers, Side Cut Pliers
• Nose Pliers, Flashlight, Snips, Cable/Razor Knife
• Tape Measure, Torpedo Level
• Tool Pouch/Tool Bag or Tool Bucket, Sheet Rock Saw, Hammer

• Safety Glasses (provided)
• Hard Hat, Gloves, High-Visibility Vest (available upon request)

Contract position based out of St. George, UT. Fully onsite.

Pay range: $20.00 – $28.00/hr.
